act called Joe Swing. He enters the stage, dressed smartly and
looking very stylish in his tux singing 'Come Fly With Me' in a
smooth and velvety voice, very reminiscent of Sinatra. The
audience sits up immediately and takes notice, then halfway
through the song, to everyone's surprise and amazement, he
suddenly starts to levitate higher and higher up from his
barstool, whilst still singing! He then floats back down and
finishes the song to a fantastic reception. Now that's an
opening! This is a classy unique act. |

Darin and Harry Connick Jnr, Michael Buble etc. He really connects with his
audience, using his charm and interacting with them , while every
now and then to everyone's surprise and delight performs quick 'off the cuff' magic tricks, which all adds to this thoroughly
entertaining act. For instance when joe sings that great Sinatra song 'One for my baby'
he plays a slightly drunk character as depicted in the song and while he's singing
cigarettes start to appear and disappear at will, which he never gets to light,
much to his and everybodys else's surprise. A very funny moment! |
